Teaching Science can be difficult as it requires a student to imagine learning in 3D but it is taught in 2D with a huge vocabulary.
Thanks to my experience and working with vocabulary I work with each student to develop their own strategies for learning.
Mary-Jane has, throughout the course of her career worked successfully with students who have had varying Special Educational Needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PDA and Gifted and Talented.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics can be studied separately as a single GCSE.
“Double award” with any exam board covers the first 2 thirds of the content of the single.
Practical work is assessed in the written exam and there is no course work, but key practical work must be studied at school.
I Tutor all three exam boards i.e., AQA, Edexcel, OCR and iGCSE at KS3 and QCSE.
Students may sit higher or foundation papers. The maximum mark awarded is 9* at higher and 5 at foundation.
