The Kent test is designed to assess whether grammar school is a suitable option for the student.
The questions in the test have been designed and written by experts in order to see how students perform using different types of reasoning skills and also testing ability in English and Maths.

The Kent Test
The Kent test is in two separate booklets, one called Reasoning which contains questions which test verbal, non-verbal and spatial skills, and the other called English & Maths. Both booklets contain timed tests which consist of a series of multiple-choice questions.
The ideal age to start tuition is as a student enters year 5, as the level of questioning covers parts of the Maths and English curriculum which would normally be taught in Year 6. The Kent Test is rigorous examined by GL. Other entrance tests are examined by CES and vary with their testing combinations. I can offer this service.
